The blogosphere is a very dynamic place and it develops in a very fast pace. In order to keep up you will learn new things all the time – be that the different technical tricks or a new social media channel to use.
If you start a blog and do everything right after a while people will know you. People from virtually anywhere in the world will be reading your blog and you will become visible to them.
4. Develops research skills
You don’t know everything and as a blogger you will often be writing about a topics that need research.

Let’s take me for example. I am from Armenia and it is not easy being far away from all the places, where great things are happening. Knowing people from far countries is a challenge too. So the Internet, the social networks and of course my blog are the tools I use to reach out.
13. Improves communications skills
No matter what kind of blog do you have and what do you write about it all comes down to one essential thing at the end – communication. If you want to become a successful blogger you have to communicate with your readers.
14. Great personal branding tool
We all have different roles play in life. Many of those roles dictate certain behavioral. Your blog is a place where you can be yourself. You represent your own individual brand here and should work on your branding.
15. Can assist in getting new job, publishing contract, etc.
Many well-known bloggers have been approached by publishing houses and offered a contract. New career opportunities, such as consulting, coaching, etc. may also come your way. You never know what will be waiting for you once you make your blog successful.
Sounds great right? The thing is I did not mention that this was only the bright side of the story. Unfortunately starting and growing a successful blog is not easy.
